The Lake Shore Community Association FAQ

What if I run out of payment coupons?

When you mail in your payment, include a note letting the property manager know you are out of coupons. Payment is still due on the first of the month.

Why do we pay dues?

Dues cover the cost of maintaining the common Lake Shore community property including the lake, gazebo, volleyball pit, pool, playgrounds, basketball court, entrances, perimeter fence, and open areas. The maintenance of the common areas includes all utilities as well as landscaping and snow removal. Dues also cover lifeguards at the pool and trash/recycling collection for the neighborhood.

What if I am charged a late fee but think there is a valid reason it should be waived?

Write a letter to the board explaining the circumstances and send it to the property manager's office. You will receive a written reply approving or denying your request.

What if something in my house breaks?

Unless you can prove it was defective when built, it is your responsibility to fix.

What if I have a complaint about a neighbor?

If you cannot resolve the situation yourself, contact the property manager.

What if I see a neighbor doing something illegal?

Call the police.
